Hello and welcome from me, the Secret DPO. I've been a Data Protection Officer (DPO) since before the EU GDPR made it 'sexy' and from the days before LinkedIn become toxic. I remember a time when us DPOs stuck together and helped each other out. Those days are gone it seems, and now all I see is 'one-up-man-ship' and snake oil salesman.
That's not to say there are no pockets of light, as there are loads, and go find them I beg of you. However, the world just isn't what it once was. So this is my safe space to share thoughts, ideas and get people talking again. Not shouting or showing off. Discussion.
